How We Started

How I started:

My name is curtis, founder of legendarydream before this brand, I was just another guy doing factory work---- clocking, clocking out .I was stuck in the routine, living paycheck to paycheck. Every two weeks, I'd collect J$50,000...and almost half of that went straight to rent. It wasn't living. It was survival. But everything changed after a serious accident on the job. My lower right arm was badly damaged, and I had to undergo surgery to place a metal to facilitate the healing of the bone, which still remains the surgery lasted nearly four hours. The experience was traumatic --- I was scared, uncertain about what came next. I couldn't work for four months. I was broke, sitting in silence with my thoughts... and a cast that reminded me how fragile everything was.i couldn't even cook. My meals were bread and pizza over and over until even 

eating felt like a struggle. And while I was physically healing, something bigger was happening inside me. That pain forced a shift in me. I started studying myself more. I realized that my biggest obstacle wasn't the job,or even the injury it was my mindset. I had been negative about life so long, but the truth hit me hard: 

no one's coming to save you. You have to fish for yourself." That realization woke something up in me. I started thinking differently. I saw how people around me, especially young men and women, were chasing distraction, partying while broke, afraid of change, afraid to fail. They weren't dreaming. They were coping and I was one of them......until now. 

That's when the idea for LegendaryDream was born 

This wasn't just a brand it was my breakthrough. A message stitched into every hoodie, every T shirt: 

YOU ARE POWERFUL. YOU ARE CAPABLE.

BUT YOU HAVE TO SHIFT YOUR MINDSET.

I started small.. writing quotes that spoke to me printing samples. Every phrase--- start small dream Big," vision without action is a daydream..." was a piece of me, a reminder of what I had been through and what I was determined to become. Now LegendaryDream is growing movement. Not just fashion ---but freedom. A symbol for anyone who knows what it feels like to be stuck,scared, broke or overlooked and 

still dares to rise

I purchased 30 t shirts and made 110,000 us in sales, which was my first bulk order at that time, and shortly after, I reinvested for more merchandise. I then ordered 50 

pieces of hoodies, and everything came crashing down because my shipping company charged me almost one hundred thousand dollars to clear the package, and I couldn't afford to because I was in debt bills were stocking up. But I made a promise to myself that I won't stop fighting That's when the idea for LegendaryDream was born
